POSITION TITLE: Senior BI Architect, New York Metro

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Design Overall BI Architecture to provide customer’s long term solutions for business needs.
• Strong experience in applying various technologies to solve business issues.
• Develop and deliver high quality technical/functional presentations and demos.
• Architect solutions based on Oracle’s Technology Stack.
• Present and articulate advanced features and benefits of Oracle’s BI Solutions to senior executives.

Position Title: Oracle Database Administrator, Delaware

Job Description:

Junior to Mid-level Oracle Database Administrator sought for full-time, permanent position with Delaware-based Pharmaceuticals firm. The qualified candidate will support Development, Test, and Production databases in a Unix environment, preferably HP-UX or Solaris. Experience working in Pharmaceutical and validated applications is required. Support includes all aspects of monitoring, both reactive and proactive. Qualified candidate should have experience with Oracle DB Server software installation and patching. Includes carrying a pager and weekend support. Qualified candidate should be proficient in SQL, PL/SQL, OEM, and Unix Shell scripting. Qualified candidate will also provide support for Documentum Docbases including startup, shutdown. Experience with Oracle9i and 10g preferred. Oracle Certification a plus. Exp with SQLServer 2000, and Citrix Terminal Server a plus.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Production Support
• Implement Oracle Security patches
• Disaster recovery testing
• Oracle & Documentum server support
• Oracle account creation & password resets.
• Data loads - SQLLoader, exp/imp
• Pro-active server monitoring

Required Skills:

• Minimum of 2 to 3 years of hands-on DBA experience

Position: Senior Oracle Database Administrator, Somerset, NJ

Primary responsibilities will include:

• All areas of Oracle database administration
• Remote and on-site support services will be provided to both development teams and production systems in person, via the telephone, email, instant messaging or client's on-line problem reporting system
• Resolve client issues independently and/or with Oracle Support
• Database monitoring and management for space utilization, resource bottlenecks, or other problem incidents
• Oracle server software installations and upgrades
• Performance tuning (application and server)
• Monitoring and implementing backup solutions and providing database recovery when necessary
• Database and client software installations and configuration
• Extensive client interaction
• 24x7 production support for global user community, including support of critical systems
• Some travel required

Minimal Skills/qualifications required:

• 5+ years Oracle DBA in a UNIX environment
• 9i Application Server support experience in a production environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Good presentation skills
• Consulting experience
• Oracle Certified Professional database administrator
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Self-motivated
• Competent in shell scripting
• Able to develop procedures, packages, triggers in PL/SQL
